Jingxiao Zeng

Dr. Zeng is the Music Teaching Assistant at Boston University Academy, where he supports ensembles, coaches student musicians, and contributes to performances and classroom learning. An active trombonist in the Greater Boston area, he has performed with the National Opera Orchestra (Beijing, China), the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, and the Beijing Symphonic Wind Band. Dr. Zeng holds a Doctoral (DMA) Degree and an MM in Trombone Performance from Boston University and a BM from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. He cares deeply about each student’s growth—academic, emotional, and physical well-being—and strives to cultivate disciplined musicianship, curiosity, and confidence.
