Meeting Full Financial Need:
You help us meet the full financial need of every admitted student – with no financial aid waitlist. This is rare for independent schools and it allows BUA to build a community based on academic capacity, curiosity, and kindness rather than financial circumstances. In the 2025-2026 school year, we distributed $2.7 million in holistic, need-based financial aid to 61 students. This support enables full participation in the BUA experience, from MBTA passes for daily transportation to school to grants for BUA’s global travel trips.

Our teachers are the heart of the BUA journey. You invest in our dedicated educators through supporting professional development, curriculum development stipends, and meaningful teacher appreciation initiatives.

Because of the generosity of our community, the average financial aid grant has increased by 70% over the past decade. In the past six years, no admissible student has been turned away due to financial aid limitations.
