English Teacher (part-time)

Boston University Academy is seeking a part-time English teacher to teach two sections of 11th grade American Literature for the remainder of the 2021-22 school year. The position would begin in early January or sooner, depending on the candidate’s availability.

The teacher will join a four-person department committed to discussion-based classes, textual analysis, interdisciplinary thinking, and a process approach to writing. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of teaching experience, an advanced degree in English or a related field, a student-centered approach, deep and diverse literary interests, and a passion for working with high school students.
