Peer Tutoring

The goal of Peer Tutoring is for students to receive practice and guidance in a subject area from a BUA student who has successfully completed that particular course of study. BUA students are paired up by the start of October.

Peer Tutors meet weekly with their tutees. Tutors help students in a variety of ways: they review past homework and tests to clarify any confusion and answer questions, help with written homework, plan for long- and short-term assignments, study for an upcoming test, practice science or math problems, or practicing declensions and drilling vocabulary.

If you are interested in being a Peer Tutor, apply here. (Peer tutors earn community service hours for their work and must reach out to Ms. Atkinson or Ms. Evans to confirm hours, they will not automatically be reported).
