Student Organization Orientation

If you are interested in registering a club, consider the following. A BUA club must (1) have a clear and distinct purpose aligned with BUA’s mission, (2) perform activities which contribute to either the internal or external community, (3) meet regularly (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) and remain active through the entirety of the school year while accomplishing meaningful work (according to the club’s mission and purpose) and, (4) establish clear student leadership who will significantly impact the direction of the club. Please read the FAQ here to learn about some the aspects of the BUA club program.

All present and future club leaders are required to complete the club orientation process which includes the following:

    1. Watch the orientation video here.
    2. Complete the club request form on Club Hub (this may include finding an advisor and room location prior to submission)
      • If you re-registered in the spring you do not need to complete this step again in the fall.
    3. All leaders listed on Club Hub must earn a 100% score on the Club Policy Quiz here. If a student will not serve as a leader this time around, please change their status to ‘member’ or remove them from the club on Club Hub.

Clubs will be approved on a rolling basis once registration opens. Stop by to see Ms. Perrone in room 115 if you have any additional questions.

Budget Request Orientation

Once your club is approved, you may complete the Budget request process which includes a separate orientation and budget policy quiz. All club leaders must earn 100% on the budget policy quiz to be eligible for a budget. Note that submitted a budget request does not mean you will be awarded that request.

  1. Watch the budget orientation video here.
  2. Draft a budget request and review it with your advisor before submission.
  3. All leaders listed on Club Hub must earn a 100% score on the Budget Policy Quiz here. This form includes a place for your to submit your budget request for consideration.

All budgets will be released on the same day two weeks after the deadline for submissions passes.
