We\u2019ll focus on practical ways to avoid over-reliance and maintain ownership of student learning, and discuss students\u2019 current use of GenAI.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<p><span>Dr. Fassihi is a<\/span><span>\u00a0BUA parent and a senior lecturer in the\u00a0<\/span><span>BU College of Arts &amp; Sciences writing program, where her recent research focuses on the role of\u00a0<\/span><span>generative AI in writing. Dr. Fassihi\u00a0<\/span><span>currently serves on the Provost\u2019s AI Task Force at BU.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Lunch will be catered from Life Alive for the first ten students to sign up on Friday, January 16, from 11:10-11:45 a.m. in Room 204.<\/p>\n<p>This lunch is full.
