Eric Simonian

Mathematics Teacher

Eric Simonian earned both his BA and MA in Mathematics Education from the University of Rhode Island and has taught secondary-level mathematics in Rhode Island for over 35 years. In addition, Mr. Simonian’s experience includes working with elementary and secondary teachers as well as pre-service secondary teachers at URI, Rutgers, and Lesley University. He was awarded the Presidential Award of Excellence for Mathematics Teaching in 2001 and was certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in 2007. Mr. Simonian has been an adjunct college mathematics instructor for over 30 years, the last 6 years at Boston University.
